Pippa O’Connor’s diet and fitness regime will blow your mind – because she doesn’t have one.
The gorgeous influencer superstar says she doesn’t have any secrets or tips, because she doesn’t do anything!
“No, nothing. I never diet, I never go to the gym, so nothing. I just run on adrenaline and stress! It’s nothing to be proud of, it’s just the way I am.”
Not only that the model mum-of-two admits she likes a glass of Christmas cheer.
“Listen, I enjoy a few drinks — we work hard and know how to enjoy ourselves. I’m not boring, put it like that!”
She’s flat out in the run up to Christmas thanks to her POCO pop-up store in Liffey Valley shopping centre – check out her jeans genius at pocobypippa.com – on top of her Littlewoods line, Pippa Edit for V for Very, lifestyle and interior brand The Pippa Collection, and just being one of the country’s biggest social media superstars.
“It is hard, I’m constantly juggling and trying to fit everything in, but I manage — if I thought about it too much I’d freak out!
“It’s been a mad few years with work and the kids, I’ll probably look back and think, ‘How did I do it all?’”
But she took time out to give us her top tips on how to make it as a social media superstar.
“First, and it might sound obvious, but you have to really enjoy it, you have to enjoy doing your social media. I often hear businesses going, ‘Oh, I hate social media’, and then they’ll ask me what they should be doing.
“But I tell them that if you’re not enjoying it and you’re not good at it, get someone else who is to help you run it. It’s like clothes, if you’re wearing something you’re not comfortable in its really obvious, it speaks volumes straight away.
“Next, you have to be consistent. You can’t post something on a Monday and then not do anything until the Friday, you have to keep it up. And remember, people want to see everything. They don’t want to just see the finished product, they want to see what happened along the way.
“Be honest and truthful and show everything that you can.”
With Christmas well on the way, Pippa has big plans — involving three trees — for the big day.
“I’ve already got the boys’ little Christmas tree for them, we’re decorating that at the moment, Ollie is really excited. I’ll have three trees so I need to get moving.
“It’s our first Christmas in the new house and I don’t think either of us will cook Christmas dinner to be honest.
“I’m half thinking of having dinner outside the house, going out on Christmas Day. I don’t want to cook, Brian doesn’t want to cook, so why should we?
“Christmas is our busiest time of year for the business, the POCO pop-up will be open right up to Christmas Eve, so we’ll be working flat out.
“But I do love Christmas, I love all the holidays, Valentine’s day, Easter, Halloween, whenever I’m in town I’m just looking for an excuse to decorate the house.”
Pippa’s POCO pop-up store is open in Dublin’s Liffey Valley shopping centre in Dublin 22 until December 24, or shop online at www.pocobypippa.com.
